Book-A-Roos is a program that addresses all of the fundamental components of learning to read in the best possible environment.

  • Taught by credentialed South Bay teachers
  • Instruction targeted to your child’s current reading level.
  • Small teacher/student ratio (1 to 6 or less) for reading instruction
  • Fun-filled learning atmosphere

Research has shown

  • Phonemic awareness instruction helps children learn to read and spell
  • Systematic and explicit phonics instruction significantly improves word recognition, spelling, reading comprehension and is most effective when introduced early
  • Repeated and monitored oral reading improves reading fluency and overall reading achievement

Whether your child is an emerging, intermediate, or advanced reader, professional teachers will instruct your child at his/her reading level to provide your child with the fundamental skills to begin and continue a journey that will last a lifetime.
